They’re sending Buddy to an off-base oral surgeon. He has ANOTHER evaluation tomorrow. If he can, by some miracle, convince this guy that he’s had this crown for 15 years, it’s not bothering him, and another three weeks won’t make a difference, then he’ll leave on time for Aircraft Commander school. If not, he’ll have it taken out on Wednesday (with the Air Force having wasted an additional 2 1/2 days that could have been spent recovering) and HOPEFULLY be cleared on Friday to leave. If not Friday, he won’t be cleared until Monday and may or may not make it to AC school on time, if at all. He’s really upset, but doing a good job of staying positive. We’re both really struggling with trusting God on this one so prayers for both of us would be amazing. Neither of us can figure out why Buddy just can’t win lately when it comes to his career. So far, all the roadblocks have been minor and we’ve been able to overcome and then some, but this one just feels like one too many for us.
